Fifth Harmony's Google popularity report (May 15th, 2015)

Most people have the "If you don't know something, ask Google" lifestyle. I have it and I bet you have it too. That's why SEO, smart use of keywords & Google Popularity are IMPORTANT topics. 

As "normal people", an easy way to measure Fifth Harmony's overall popularity is by tracking the "Fifth Harmony" keyword popularity on Google. This popularity is given by the use of the keyword in sentences and questions on Google for Example: "Who is Fifth Harmony?", "Fifth Harmony members", etc.

 By analyzing the results and the variations of the frequence in a period of time, we can determine how certain actions, public appearances, events or article boost Fifth Harmony's keyword performance.

About the peaks on the keyword's performance

• The most important peak in performance was during the first week of February thanks to the release of Fifth Harmony's first album "Reflection" (January 30th) *Thanks to Rai and Steph for reminding me this lol*. 

• The peak on the last week of April was probably thanks to the RDMAs on April 26th, where the Fifth Harmony girls performed their hit single "Worth It" (You can watch the performance HERE). 

• And lastly but not least important, the peak on April 26th - May 2nd was the result of Fifth Harmony's short appearance on the Latin Billboard Awards on April 30th. Fifth Harmony presented the "Solo Artist of the Year" to Enrique Iglesias.

• The Wango Tango performance on May 9th helped maintain the high interest after the peak but didn't beat the peak obtained for the Premios Billboard.

Even a short appearance on an awards show can boost Fifth Harmony's popularity on Google, sending the people to the Top result which is the following:

A simple boost on "Fifth Harmony"'s popularity on Google can lead to an increase in views on the Worth It music video, increase on Social Media reach, traffic to the Fifth Harmony official website (tour dates, music info, about the girls, etc) and more.

The popularity of Fifth Harmony's latest single has been growing constantly, this is cohesive with the song's better performance on Billboard, where the song is alrady on Top 20; and the increase of airplay on the radio.

Something interesting to mention is that in case you were wondering if the RDMA's performance boosted "Worth It"'s popularity...it did.

Fifth Harmony's overall popularity on Google has been increasing constantly, for the next report I'll include the BBMA's and Fifth Harmony's visit to the UK data which, In my opinion, will bring a new peak for Fifth Harmony in 2015.
